Treatment That Fits Your Life
Consider Invisalign to get the beautiful straight teeth you’ve always wanted — without braces.
The Invisalign system is made of clear acrylic aligners that fit over your teeth and are designed to straighten your smile. They’re removable, making it easier to eat, drink, brush and floss.
Invisalign is much more comfortable than traditional metal bracket braces and can give you stunning results.

The Invisalign Process
We’ll start by taking photos and X-rays to create a 3D image of your mouth. We’ll use these images to make your first set of custom-fitted aligners from these images. Then, they begin the process of straightening your teeth.
Most patients will wear Invisalign aligners for 9-15 months and will use 18-30 sets during your treatment. Wear the trays for about 22 hours a day, but remove them for brushing your teeth and eating.
Based on your individual needs, you will wear several sets of trays throughout your orthodontic treatment, and will start to notice a change in just a few months!

A Modern Approach
Invisalign® takes a modern approach to straightening teeth. It uses a custom-made series of aligners created for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth.
Your teeth will move into place little by little as you wear your aligners, based on the exact movements your orthodontist plans for you. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You just pop in a new set of aligners about every two weeks, until your treatment is complete.
You’ll get a great smile without a treatment that gets in the way of your daily life. The best part? Most people won’t even realize that you’re straightening your teeth.
This nearly-invisible option to straighten your teeth is truly changing the way people see orthodontic treatment. Dr. Goldberg & Dr. Davis have a lot of experience treating patients with Invisalign, and we’re excited to offer this technology to our High Point and Greensboro braces patients.
Differences Between Invisalign & Braces
The biggest difference is that the smooth plastic Invisalign Aligners don’t have metal components that can irritate your mouth like metal braces do.
Because they’re removed when you eat, you won't have to watch what you eat like you would when wearing braces—bring on the popcorn and peanuts.
The aligners actually must be removed before eating and drinking anything other than water. Make sure you’re willing to commit to this before you decide on Invisalign clear aligners.
Additionally, you’ll need to clean your teeth before putting your aligners back on after you eat to avoid staining. Since brushing and flossing is much easier with aligners than traditional braces, this shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

Responsibilities of Invisalign
For the aligners to do their job, it’s important to wear them for at least 22 hours every day. Like with traditional braces, you will generally need to wear a retainer after Invisalign treatment to maintain your new alignment—and your confident new smile.
