The Modern Treatment Choice

Invisalign® is the modern solution for your smile.

This orthodontic treatment system uses powerful clear acrylic aligners that fit over your teeth to straighten your smile.

Not only that, but they’re removable, so you can eat and drink what you want, and brushing and flossing is a breeze.

Invisalign is way more comfortable than traditional metal bracket braces, and our Greensboro and High Point patients absolutely love it.

Orthodontist High Point

The best part? Most people around High Point and Greensboro can’t even tell that you’re straightening your teeth. We have many image-conscious teens and adults who choose Invisalign for just that reason!

If you’re already unhappy with how your teeth look or feel, the last thing you want is to make your smile stand out even more. Since Invisalign aligners are clear, most people won’t even notice them. They also give you a better view of your teeth as they begin straightening, which is a great incentive to keep up the good work!

Dr. Davis, Dr. Goldberg, or Dr. Seitz designs custom-made series of aligners specifically for your smile. Your aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable, and virtually invisible plastic that fits snugly over your teeth.

Your teeth will move gradually into place based on your unique treatment plan. Since there aren’t any metal brackets to fool with or wires to tighten, you just pop in a new set of aligners about every two weeks. It’s that simple!

The Invisalign Process

First, we’ll take photos and X-rays to create a 3D image of your mouth. Your custom-fitting aligners will come straight from what we learn with these images.

That way, they can be incredibly effective at straightening your teeth. Most patients will wear Invisalign aligners for 9-15 months and use 18-30 sets during treatment.

It’s important to wear the trays for about 22 hours a day, but you can remove them to eat and brush your teeth.

Dr. Davis, Dr. Goldberg, or Dr. Seitz will update your trays based on your progress, and you’ll start to notice a change in just a few months!

Differences Between Invisalign & Braces

Right away, our patients notice that the smooth plastic Invisalign aligners are free of any metal components that can irritate your mouth like metal braces.

Invisalign aligners are designed to be removed before you brush and floss, then replaced once you’re done. This makes it incredibly easy to keep your teeth and gums in good shape while we straighten your smile!

We recommend brushing thoroughly after every meal and flossing every night before bed for the best results. You’ll also need to take good care of your aligners to keep the treatment plan moving smoothly.

You can gently brush them with water and a soft toothbrush or use one of the special kits available for this purpose.

There’s something else you can say goodbye to when you use Invisalign clear aligners—food restrictions!

Crunchy and chewy foods can damage the brackets and wires of a patient’s braces, so they must avoid them throughout the orthodontic process. But Invisalign aligners are removed before eating, so you’re still free to chow down on all your favorite foods!

Invisalign Cost

You may not realize it, but braces have been around in one form or another for hundreds of years.

Invisalign aligners are relatively new, comparatively speaking! Like many new items, they were pretty expensive when they first hit the market.

But, as clear aligner treatment has become more popular and accessible, the cost has gone down accordingly. The cost of treatment varies from case to case, but these days, Invisalign aligners cost roughly the same as traditional braces.

Talk to Us About Invisalign

Invisalign is an amazing treatment, but it isn’t for everyone. Dr. Davis, Dr. Greenberg, or Dr. Seitz may not recommend them for some complex alignment or bite issues or for those with bridgework. Your doctor will work with you to discover your best option.
